So often builders are stuck building a one style home with the same floor plan. With the high cost of building today why settle for a cookie cutter, mass produced home. With those high volume builder with multiple projects under way you can bet that your project will be handed over to a foreman that at some point during the week may check your site. Wouldn't you feel better if you new that your builder was on site all day every day. With a Designer Built Home your custom designer is also your custom builder, I will not only be designing your project I will also be constructing your home from frame to finish and directing your project from the first moments of consultation to the ultimate point of completion. Yes, through out the design and building process you will be working with the owner Michael Lallier. There's no need to make dozens of calls looking for a competent, reliable Designer or Architect and then try to find a quality builder to again relay all your ideas in hopes they will understand what you want. Coming from the old school does not mean we are not open to new ideas and methods. We are currently offering Smart Home Technologies in all areas of heating, cooling, lighting, whole house and/or dedicated areas for audio and video systems. When it comes to energy we can offer you the Energy Star Program. For those suffering from allergies we are up to date on the latest advances in constructing to the standards of the Healthy Home Programs.

The Owners Word

       I'm not the largest building company in the area, only building one or two custom homes a year allows me time to create not build my clients dream home. Unlike other building firms I'm not trying to be the biggest or the fastest just the best. Our approach and commitment to servicing you though the design and building phase will ensure you a smooth, hassle free construction experience. With the end result being a home you will enjoy for many many years to come. With that said, a custom home of any size is a big move and a big investment for any individual to make. The builder/contractor is also your investment. In him or her you entrust a great deal of faith that they will deliver you the finest home or home project possible. I believe to maintain that highest level of quality a contractor must be available and on site at all times to ensure that the job is done right the first time. You will from the early days of your project, feel confident by my daily presence, that your home will be constructed with care and the way you envisioned it. This is one reason why I will only take on one Custom project at a time.

Owner Profile

Michael Lallier in the trade is known to come from the old school as you will soon see. At age 18 I stared my roofing and siding company. After a year or two and over a hundred successful jobs already behind me I started to take on small additions and remodeling jobs. With my reputation for being affordable, reliable and providing quality work spreading.  In 1977 and at age 22 a local bank had decide to fund my first custom home. What an introduction into the home building trade mother nature had given me. My first lumber drop from my supplier was the morning of the blizzard of  1978 which dumped an average of 48 inch of snow in 24 hours and basically shut done the state for a week. I did recover as we all did and continued to build and develop my building and designing skills as well as my finish woodworking skills. At one point between my custom building projects I found myself heavily into providing woodwork/finish carpentry services in some of the finest homes in the area and actually finishing the personal homes of many of the builders/developers I had been subcontracting for. Today after building and working on several hundred homes. One of the main factors in my success would have to be the attention to details and quality workmanship I deliver to the job and to my clients. No matter who the client I have always given the project and the clients 110%. This is the kind of service you will receive throughout your building process a straight, honest old fashion approach not seen often in this trade. I'm not one of those typical builders that will have many homes under construction at the same time. I believe I'm one of those rare builders that will only do one project at a time. I also designs and constructs everyone of those homes as though it were my own home and it will show with the details that I incorporates into every project I takes on. Of course I would be happy to work with your designer/architect and your plans. Today with technology and the internet my clients are finding that the design and building of a home is hassle free. Many of the homes on my design page and on the under construction page are for clients out town or out of state. Like them whether your one town or three states away with cell phones, e-mails and my updating of the under construction page of your project, you'll be able to view your project at any time and from any were. Like them you'll  be ensured of an informed hassle free and up to date design and building experience. From that cottage to that custom dream home, you will see as you browse through the photo albums of my past and ongoing jobs that I truly enjoys my work. Michael Lallier is a hands on Finish Contractor /Custom Builder. That means to ensure cost control and total quality, you will not find him behind his desk. But rather with a tool in hand working with his crew and at other times on his lull or backhoe. To ensure that he can handle any project that may be presented to him, Michael Lallier is fully licensed with out restrictions with the Board of building regulations in the State of Massachusetts as a Construction Supervisor #014526, which in the trades in known as a builders license.  He is also fully licensed with out restrictions with the state of Massachusetts as a Home Improvement Contractor #10977, which also entitles him to take on and oversee all aspects of any remodeling project including tear downs and rebuilds.
